Practise the class while sitting in a chair.

Repeat the practice while sitting on the floor in swastikasana.

Make notes about the differences to your: posture/tension/flow of breath/alertness/ with each approach.

When you practise several times, select a point of focus for each session based on your previous experience; for example, if you observe the sternum dropping and shoulders rounding and rising up to the ears, make this the focus of your next practice.

Reflect for yourself whether you were tempted not to study the chair lesson and/or not to practice sitting in the chair. What was your motivation?
