NAMES1…2…3… This trio of asanas is extremely helpful in breath control, concentration and meditation. All the three are easy to perform and are helpful in keeping the limbs loose and relaxed. The body is still, the mind is calm, alert, and observant, and therefore fit for concentration and meditation. Padmasana is the best of the three asanas, as the crossed legs exert a downward pressure, bring firmness, and help the upward extension of the spine. Padmasana and Siddhasana are considered sacred.
